Malibu Kayaks In the Spotlight at Forces Of Nature 2008 Lifeguards Challenge

The city of Espinho located in Portugal hosted the first international Lifeguards challenge to be held in Portugal. The grand event took place on September 27 and 28 at Baia Beach with five teams to disputing the Forces of Nature 2008 Title and take home a surprise prize valued at 10,000 euros. The highlight of Forces of Nature 2008 was the use of Kayaks during rescues, DiverKayaks (Malibu Kayaks) sponsored the Kayak race with 14 Kayaks. Malibu Kayaks were a hit and are being considered as one more rescue method to be used in Portugal.
